Dr. Naqi is a consultant medical oncologist with over 30 years of experience in the discipline. He is a supervisor, examiner and member of the faculty of Oncology in CPSP. He has to his credit raising the Oncology setup in CMH Lahore and is presently the Principal of CMH Lahore Medical College and Institute of Dentistry. He has numerous publications in national and international journals.
Dr. Saqib Mehmood, MBBS, MSc, PhD

Dr. Saqib Mehmood is a distinguished academic and clinical expert in human genetics with an illustrious career spanning over 36 years. His extensive experience integrates teaching, research, clinical practice, and administrative leadership in prominent medical institutions. Most recently, he served as a tenured Professor of Human Genetics and Molecular Biology at the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore, where he dedicated 15 years to mentoring over 30 postgraduate students, including 10 PhD scholars, and advancing research in genetic diagnostics.
Dr. Saqib’s academic contributions are exemplified by his impactful publications in high-ranking international journals, boasting a cumulative impact factor of 153.031. He has successfully secured competitive grants from esteemed funding bodies, such as the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Pakistan Science Foundation, and Punjab Higher Education Commission. Specializing in molecular diagnostics of genetic disorders, Dr. Saqib has made significant strides in understanding and managing complex hereditary conditions and providing genetic counseling to affected families.
In addition to his scholarly achievements, Dr. Saqib has demonstrated exceptional administrative acumen. As Controller of Examinations at UHS, he ensured the seamless execution of professional examinations and the Medical College Entrance Test (MDCAT) for Punjab. His leadership roles include serving as Chairperson of the Board of Allied Health Sciences and as a member of the UHS Syndicate and various administrative committees, reflecting his dedication to institutional excellence. Dr. Saqib’s contributions extend nationally as a member of Pakistan’s National Bioethics Committee, upholding ethical standards in biomedical research and education.

Mr. Hamid Ali

With over 18 years of experience at the intersection of genomics, technology, and marketing, Mr. Hamid Ali brings unparalleled expertise to his role as General Manager of Operations and Marketing at ELC Biogen.
Throughout his career, Mr. Hamid has worked with industry-leading molecular biology brands, including Illumina, Thermo Fisher, Applied Biosystems, and Cepheid. He has played a pivotal role in introducing cutting-edge genomic technologies to clinicians, academics, and researchers, driving advancements in molecular diagnostics and personalized medicine.
Academically, Mr. Hamid holds an M.Phil in Molecular Biology from QAU and an MS in Entrepreneurship and Industrial Biotechnology from La Trobe University, Australia. His commitment to continuous learning is evident in the numerous certifications and professional training programs he has completed, focusing on cancer genomics, reproductive health genetics, and strategic sales.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Hamid enjoys watching sports, engaging with comic shows, reading, and cherishing quality time with his children.
